Description and objective of the project:
The bridge extends 1,100 meters in length and 18 meters in width, and consists of two lanes in each direction, with a total cost of 91 million pounds.
The project aims to cancel the intersection of the Banha / Aga / Mansoura. road with Al Mansuriya, and to reduce the high loads. located on the old mobile bridge, and to transfer traffic coming from. Aja to Mansoura away from the current bridge.
It includes three car lanes, a concrete and metal bridge. for pedestrians, and its length is 5590 meters. in length, including 960 meters. in the direction of Aga, 9000 meters in the direction of Zagazig and Sunbelawin. 2170 meters in the eastern Damietta. direction and 1560 meters in the direction of Mansoura, in addition to 11100 meters. of surface roads inside a stream Mansouriya canal, to increase the traffic area used, without affecting the width of the water sector. and the movement and amount of water inside the course.
The bridge connects Dakahlia with the governorates of Cairo. Damietta, Sharkia, and Qalyubia, as well as linking many centers and cities within the governorate such as Aja, Dikirnis, Sunbelawin, Damna, Sherbeen, Talakh and others and it will contribute greatly. to solving traffic jams on highways, ending the crisis.
