Confidence in our company made various. companies depend on us for a comprehensive. and integrated work that includes. transportation supervision loading, lifting and installation. And our company's great potential is what enables us to work together.
In different locations - we were told about all. transportation, especially for large loads, weights with large dimensions, long distances, and high altitude.
We are planning lifting. and installation work for these payloads.
We are pleased to see this work through the video displayed on the page
The World Bank is providing $ 840 million in investment lending for the $ 2.2 billion natural gas power plant. The World Bank will finance the North Giza electricity project, an associated pipeline to transport natural gas to supply the station with fuel, in addition to an electrical transmission line to transport the produced electricity to the national grid.
The project is located about 30 km northwest of Cairo, on an area of 72 acres (equivalent to approximately 72 acres) of fertile agricultural land in the Nile Delta, in Egypt that suffers from water scarcity, where the percentage of arable land is less than 4%. As a result of the tremendous population growth in Egypt over the past three decades, energy demand increased and Egypt experienced an energy shortage. The World Bank has responded to the Egyptian government's requests to build several mega power plants, including the North Giza power plant, as a result of this energy crisis. However, these stations did not benefit from a clear and transparent energy strategy on the part of the Egyptian government, which is evident in the location of the North Giza power plant project on rare agricultural lands along the Nile River, where population density is already a source of concern. Converting agricultural land for the purpose of developing infrastructure and continuing overdevelopment along the Nile are short-sighted answers to the energy problem affecting millions of Egyptians.
Egypt is building the North Giza combined-cycle power plant with a capacity of 1,500 megawatts, a project worth $ 1.3 billion. The goal is to improve the security and efficiency of the electricity supply in a sustainable way. The project consists of (6) - 250 MW gas turbines, (2) - 250 MW steam turbine and (4) - Steam generators for heat recovery. The North Giza project is being built by an Italian contractor.
Portland Bolt was selected to supply 60,000 pounds of galvanized anchor bolts due to the urgency of this project. In addition to fabricating and galvanizing this product according to a fast delivery schedule, we have also been required to test all strings for magnetic particle (MT) and liquid permeability (PT) before galvanizing to ensure the strands are free from cracks. The order was fully inspected and approved in Portland, Oregon prior to the shipment of the fastening screws to Egypt. The Portland Bolt shipped 20,000 pounds of anchor bolts via air freight, with the balance of sea freight.
Portland Bolt was able to complete this project quickly due to our 94,000 sq ft manufacturing plant which can easily handle large volume, large diameter orders and extensive steel supply network that can deliver the raw materials to us in time as well as in-house galvanizing. We have fulfilled our clients' delivery requirements and kept rapid project progress
